[Stare Into Their Eyes]

very nice

this isn't exactly my style of music, but I can't ignore the fact that this song has quality and work put into it. It is remeniscent of a couple different things at once. Spyro for one, Lost winds, and some of the Smash Brother's remixes (you can tell I listen to a lot of video game music). The part halfway that is heavy on the strings reminds me of a movie, but I can't recollect which . . . :\

Nice job on this. It's defenetly got quality and hard work, so good job!

I can see why you like it. The instrument that you introduce at :13 certainly makes the peice. coupled with a well chosen bass (as you have here) makes it very addictive very fast. I would have liked to have heard that instrument that you start off with - the one that winds down - wind back up and hold at the same pace as your kick and then jump right into your beat (synth and all). about the one minute mark tho, it starts getting repeatative. Could I reccomend mebe a reverse cymbal into a crash? And the quality of your music sounds like you could do some creative things to spice up the reverse cymbal/crash. And my only other critque is clearly discernable melody. You've got a lot of stuff going on in the last minute of the song, kinda a melody there, but its so late in the song that most of the song feels like background music.

Not a bad song by any defenition. Please keep me posted if you update this and/or put up something else you'd like a review on (I like writing reviews, can you tell?). voted 5, 9, and will download this when I have and internet connection that can support a download TTnTT

The testings for this experiment

are positive! very positive! there are just a few parts where the experimental-ness are very obvious (2:58 >_<). but other than that this has an excellent progression, stays variated, and the opening with the piano is quite beautiful. The outro is very smooth and it loops so well I didn't even notice it had looped!

I'm gonna vote 5, 9, and download it too.

at 2:58 is the failure of this song. my friend actually recorded a guitar solo for this but i just couldnt get it to align right so i cut out a sample and tried desperately to get it to work but i guess it wasnt too pleasant. but atleast im sure now. i appreciate how you said the intro was beautiful

sweet

love the ambiance and breathy sounds in the beginning. wow. its really picking up now. Yeah, I can see the zombies having a rave too. man, 5/2. I would hate to do try that, but it worked very nicely in this to great effect. I was a little bummed when you had the high energy at :55 through 1:12 transition into the slow part there after, you sped it up, and it got nice - but the transition was a little interupting . . . still a great song. voted 5 and a 9

yay finally a review on this! i was thinking another zero bomb. but hey im glad my image worked. the part at 1:12 was a part many people didnt enjoy i believe, but i had to find some way to reset the focus. going from a break beat to a goa type trance i had to change the tempo so that the styles wouldnt mesh. if i do a song again like this ill remember your comment. :)

just a little gripe tho(does NOT subtract from my scoring^_'), this is so in-you-face dance ^=^ heheh.

It needs a melody. a piano or a square (OR BOTH!) would sound great for the feel you have going.

I really enjoyed this thos. it's very happy bouncy, which is never a bad thing on my list ^_^ EQ work is excellent - something I can respect. a 5 and a 9

needs an ending.

love that opening synth

I'm liking how it starts. The strings are quite nice, but I would like to see a nice stab accompanying the strings playing harmony. Not crazy about the fade out 3/4s of the way through, it sounded like you were ending the song there.

It needs one more thing because this would work better as a loop than a full fledged song right now. I think if you added a melody with a guitar or a lead that you felt really fit the feel of the song, the song would benefit.

But as is, it's not at all bad, just feels like it could use a little something to become awesome ^_' a 4 and an 8 for now. PM me if you choose to update this.

Great atmosphere throughout! really amazing. Sounds like something right out of Legend of Dragoon, a BIG plus in my book. My LoD nostalgia aside, you accurately portray the underwater/tundratic feel in the piece to a T. I even feel a little tickle to try and remix this into trance if you didn't mind my taking a crack at it sometime (you'd get credit of course ^_^). voted a 5 and gonna download this as well.

Good job on this. you should be well pleased with how this turned out ^_^

dude, the transiitions are slick. and not bad vocals either dude ^_' ok, I take that back, you've got some great vocals on this. yeah, they might be a TAD drowned out, but not so much that I can't make out what you are saying. It's awesome

It's gotta really addictive feel to all of it. You could (see: SHOULD-please?) make a 4-5 minute song of this EASY. Good to see you still making music, and seeing that you are getting better ^_' not just saying that-I believe it. Anything less than a 10/5/and a download would be a crime, so I'll do just those.

Glad to hear you are still plugging away at life. keep at it bro and things will pay off, make music when you can, but don't lose priority on loved ones, school and work. drop me a line and let me know how you are doin so I can keep you in my prayers (hmm, dunno if you are a man of faith ... but it couldn't hurt, huh?) ^_^
