no, it would make you a masocist.

It hurts my ears too, but thats not as much of a positive ...

I liked the little break down towards the end. If I was voting out of preference this would have a low score, but I am giving you a 7 out of respect for the work that I can tell is in here, the little break down. The repetition is the only thing holding this back in my opinion.

But keep making what you like. There will be people that enjoy it as much as you do.

AtomEq responds:

haha, I accually didnt spend that much time on it, It was sort of a joke, im surprised people even like it at all. Just for you I will make a really good version soon.

it's my first time hearing "dubstep"

not bad imo. def lavender town, which I enjoy.

Got a solid 5 from me

And I'll try and give you some 5-rain in the coming days.

Nice beat and vocals. Well EQ'd. Nice Production overall.

oh, and kudos to you for knowing what you love and not lettin haters get you down! Keep it up ^____^

AisareneMusic responds:

Thank you so much, I really appreciate this. And thanks, this song took...2 years? Between myself and my producer, that is.

mmm!

I really love the compostion you have in this one. It's very interesting and whimsical while slightly nostalgic. I can see some kind of faint memory in a forest with the sun setting and someone, a loved one of sorts, having to leave .....

you get a 10 for painting (no pun intended) a picture with your music.

GamekrazzyProduction responds:

thanks. :D that is almost exactly what I had in my mind when i made it, though it wasn't ment for anything of the sorts in the video game im making. lol. Thanks for commenting.

WOW

you did all of these on Mario Paint?! Respect just for the nerd/geek factor, Respect for the effort that must demand. If you can, I seriously reccomend looking into the FL Studio demo. It's surprisingly open for being a demo (everything is useable and exportable to mp3 from what I understand ...)

AS FOR THE SONG. It has all the classic elements and feel of an old FF game or secret of mana.

GamekrazzyProduction responds:

Thank you. And yeah im a fan of the Seiken Densetsu Series, which includes 1 final fantasy game and Secret of Mana. I am glad you liked it, too bad this song had to be approved, otherwise i would have got alot more critiques.

D

It has a nice composition. The opening feels a little empty at first; however, it does have a very strong first impression that keeps you listening. I liked the strings, they were a nice touch. In all honesty, I see a lot of potential in this loop. The only thing I can think of that holds it back is that its just a loop. maybe a little bit of a wetter reverb on the opening instrument ....

But for now, an enthusiastic 9/10.

GamekrazzyProduction responds:

hmm. I see where you going. Maybe a little more chord stucture in the beginning. Thanks for the info, i might just do that. Though because of how limited MPC is I might not be able to really turn it into a song. It is ment to be a loop though, as it is for my game. lol. Thanks again.

My New Favorite Song!

Wow. True-blue ReMix you have here. Drips of excellence! Love it love it. If you ever revisit any other DKC songs, let me know and I will be sure to review!

OH YEEEAH-YA

You had me at the Bass.

since you were focusing on your transitions on this, I will give attention to them.

I was impressed at 1:52 when you started glitching out the synth that was holding the attention and how smoothly you introduced the one the was playing on the beat. THAT caught my attention.

I liked the guitar you were playing with. I would have liked to have seen a litle more with that ^__^ oh wait, there it's back.

To say I am impressed is an understatement. I know that I personally fall in the trap of being afraid to jump around melody/beat-wise in my songs, so to not only go a bunch of different ways in a song BUT to make it feel cohesive with some direction (even if that direction is a bumpin' trance tune for it's own sake) ... I bow my hat to you sir.

Looking forward to more ^____^

Darren-M responds:

this song had almost zero form or structure lol, i just made what came out, what came next, it goes from a psytrance to a weird electro, to something more funky, totally wacky, which was what i wanted to give the impression of. instead of resisting that urge that says "hey add this part into the layer, but wait dont because it doesnt stick with the theme" i just ignored it and let my mind flow.

my favorite part comes in at 2:15ish with the string type synth that rides the highs.

thanks for the review

WOW

Turn up the volume because this song is great! Tons of energy. I like the organ you added. Kinda gives it a Castlevania feel or a similarly themed game.

Man the energy just does not stop. And I am trying to listen for something I could say to critique, but am at a loss : ( but that really is something to smile about : )^__^( :

my only gripe is that was very disorienting in the first 5 seconds on the first listen, but was easy to follow once it looped.

WOW *impressed*

You really went a different direction with this, didn't you. and gotta love the searching and self-seeking that these works come out of - and if this song is a reflection of that - then I am VERY happy for your behalf ^__^

That guitar is quite enchanting and I wish I could applaud you for it's composition, but I guess applauding you for even using it will have to do b/c it really adds to the song as a whole. Liked your use of a wind-synth. I would have liked to have seen the synth you used for your melody switched out halfway through the song with a more traditional instrument (a piano with a nice airy reverb and delay or some kind of wind. Like an ocarina)

But as is - excellent. very enjoyable and relaxing. nothing to complain of the composition nor sound quality (as always). keep 'em coming Darren : )

Darren-M responds:

i wish i had an ocarina instrument!

I have a message. A message I intended to deliver in a medium few have broadcasted it in before. Its nothing new, but the world must know. You must know.
