[Experiment #3]

love those pianos!

The beginning starts off interesting enough. But the section between the intro and the piano kinda left me hanging . . . it didn't feel like any buildup for anticipation of what was approaching, but then once that piano came in, you had me hooked. Really, some excellent work here on the piano. The pianos bumped it up two rating points ^_' I think if you could work out that hang time, this would be a 5/5 and a 10/10. But for now, a 5/5 and a 9/10. and what the heck, those pianos are gonna be in my head all evening, best I download it ^_^

If this song wasn't so awesome . . . I'd dock points, but everything works well. OK, REALLY. What music program do you use . . .

before I heard the first notes of the song I was thinking "ok, yellow. This is gonna hafta be happy bouncy to be yellow." and it doesn't disapoint. Lots of energy and happiness ^_^

don't take this in the wrong way, but all your color songs have a sense of "neurotic-ness" to them. But its good, b/c if colors were crazy, which they can be, I'd invision music like what you make. So . . . I guess I am saying I like . . . o ,o

Truely excellent. Glad to be the first review. And please continue to keep me up to date on this series, and any others you put up, I'd be happy to review ^_^

Thanks for the review :) The program I use is Techno Ejay 5, a premade sample (unfortunatly) program, but it's still pretty neat. Im glad you like this song btw :D

its still really interesting and enjoyable. would like to see some mastering done, that pad gets a little overpowering at points.

The instrument at :30 I'd like to hear go up an octave. Other than that, i think this is truely excellent, and you should spend more time on it, b/c you've got someting with barrelfuls of potential.

The effect that you have with the piano in the beginning is really different and pretty to the ears. Did you just use two different pianos? or what didi you do. The piano is excellently chosen and executed btw.

personally would have liked to have seen this as a 6 minute song, but not gonna downgrade for that. The change up half way is sheer excellence. It was exhilerating, but then you just let the energy drop : / however; your liberty with the tune at the very end was very enjoyable. Nice job. a 9/10 and a 5/5 ^_'

Now all you have to make is a "Children of the Sandstorm" ReMix ^o^ j/k, but if you wanted, that would be awesome ^--^

this really isn't that bad

It has nice atmosphere, luv the DnB. I like it around :31 where the volume goes up nicely. pretty sweet.

A good start

only an 8 b/c its not finished. but I gave you a five b/c I figured those 0 votes needed compenseation b/c in ALL ACTUALLITY this doesn't deserve a 0. Besides, those 0 voters are probably 12 year olds who all think they are the hottest thing on NG that make crappy Flashes that everyone blams, and doesn't like this just b/c "its not techno" ^_' stupid 12 year olds.
