OcO !!!

Simply captivating. It has a dark feel about it for certain ... but not a evil. More like an atmospheric dark feel.

Really amazing. I will be listening to this a lot in the coming days ^_^. I loved this. Downloaded it before i was even 30 seconds into the song! 10/5/dl/fav Love the violins (viola?) I love the whole thing.

... well, now that I've sounded like a broken record ... I'll wrap this up. ^u^

The drums are beautiful!

defenetly and improvment on the prior one. And you threw the Map melody in there too! It flows very well! very nicely done! This is a must download in my opinion.

The sheer quality of the instruments and overall compostion is spot. Aww dead space at the end >_o I'm gonna ignore the dead space at the end. ITs still great. voted a 5 and as you can see a 10. gonna fav as well

SockpuppetRemix responds:

Thanks for reviewing! Glad you enjoyed it! =D
And I removed the dead space, so now it ALMOST loops. (As long as you're not wearing headphones or standing right near the speaker you can't really notice the loop sucks. =) )

hmmmm!

As a christian who enjoys the combonation of anything Techno and Jesus - I approve, enjoy, and defentely am not offended. Tho I would have liked to have been able to make out the voices a little clearer. but can't complain ^_^

Very enjoyable. Gonna download ^_'

RenoakRhythm responds:

Hey thanks.

Ya i tried to get the vocals cleaner but had some problems with that.

I'm glad you approve. And thanks again for the review.

RR

hmm

not familiar with the GB's rendition of the Swamp theme, but I recognize this enough from the first one. Were you going for a Remake of the original or are you trying to remix it?

Either way, it could stand to extended because there is a lot more to the song than these 40-ish seconds. Keep at it.

very nice

wow, really sorry this has taken so ridiculously long to review. I HADN'T FORGOTTEN! >~<;

The DnB is solid and enjoyable. The energy is enjoyable too, and I really like the cooldown you have with that sick pad about halfway through. It has a very deserty-Egyptian-SuperMarioLand-esque feel, and I like it a lot. I gave that breakdown you put toward the end a second listen and its very well done. I was impressed. I like how you ended it. Sounded very pro and slick.

As for constructive critizism, I wasn't crazy about the synth in the beginning. kinda abbrasive the first time I heard it. Maybe some EQ adjusting or maybe even playing with the tune so that it would be just a tap on the note and give it a nice echo that will be able to show off the change in pitch . . . I imagine that would be a little more on the difficult side of things tho . . . I also would have liked to have heard a bridge about 3/4 of the way through that had a different melody with that pad that was used earlier. The chorus that runs the last half of the song just isn't broken up enough by the break-down that it just sounds a lot more like the same. To be honest, I didn't even notice the breakdown til I sat down and listened to it during the writing of this review (I've been listening to it off and on in the past couple weeks when I thought I'd have a chance to sit down and write this).

Overall, pretty good. I would have liked to have seen some things done differently, but this song is still enjoyable as it is. It has had a lot of work put into it and it shows.

WOW

I really can't say anything more than that in regards to this song 'o'
make more like this man. ahh, you are liking that instrument that you intro'ed at :30-aren't you? I recognize it from Intercept. ^_^ I am glad you like it cuz I like how you use it ^_^
woah-that sounded kinda wierd a_a but yeah, its still true.
What is that instrument? If I have something like it, I'd like to play with it.

Keep 'em coming man!

W00T!

HOLY PEEPEE BATMAN THIS IS FREAKING AMAZING! o:31 is pure amazingness. I can see why you are so happy with what you've made here-and I think you should be. This is liquid ecstacy in audio format! I think this is maybe the best thing I've ever heard from you Nate! Really can't stop obessing about this. anything less than a 10 vote you should report to Tom as a crime against the NG community. Over-reacting you say? No. Voting less than a 10 on this song because you can't stand that this is so good - THAT my friend is over-reacting.

Keep 'em coming Nate.

dj-Nate responds:

Haha, thanks man.

DANG DUDE!

50 hours dude! that is sick, which only shines when listening to this song. The sheer complexity of this tune is amazing. Love the pads in the last 20 seconds of the tune. I'm sorry to say this on my first review of your first song, but I know you've heard it before-this begs for a longer version! But, I don't dock any points for that as always. not even .001 pt. =>gotta download, 10/10; 5/5; favorite song; favorited artist too

Love it, please add me to your list of ppl you notify with updates.

axeFX responds:

You'd think 50 hours would produce at least a 3 minute song... (dunno wat my problem is)

this is pretty fun

nice catchy tune you have here. I agree with F-777 on a lot of points. A longer intro would make the title of this song more appropriate. And I personally feel that on the introduction of the Slayer, that you fade it in (don't start the slayer from a dead silence tho). Maybe, for the intro of the Slayer, play just a little bit of it at a time.

That sounds confusing when I write it ... ',: ' lets say for example that the tabs for your slayer are D-C-A-D-B-G-F. I dunno, I can't tell notes by ear, but bear with me. For the whole bar that it would take for this pattern to go thru, just play (in this case): D-C-A. and once that bar is done and the next one starts play your: DBGF. Hope that makes more sense. I don't know music-lingo at all o_o;

In any case, this is pretty good what you've got started. I would reccomend seeing how you like the slayer with Reverb2. Its my personal favorite lately and I think that it could add that little bit of wetness (or a lot if you fancy) that will benfit this song.

And as an side, I am very sorry that this is the first chance I've had to review your stuff, I haven't forgotten-just busy ^=^;

keep it up and lemme know if you update this.

HMS-Productions responds:

ahh once again, the dreaded Slayer... gonna try to replace it with something that sets the same sort of mood.

That makes sense, it put it in and it sounds great! haha I don't do much in music lingo either :p

Thanks for checking it out :)

-M

it can be built upon.

its not bad, it sounds to me like it has great quality, but the song as a piece sounds a little disjointed . . . almost like one of the sample tunes you'd get on a cellphone :\ I must say tho, I really really, REALLY REALLY dig the piano at the end. catchy and beautiful. take that piano, the percussions, and make a song off of those elements in this song and you'd have something pretty sweet.

Loved the choir-church feel in there. I wish there was more God-themed/inspired stuff on NG, so I am glad to see this piece.

MNMproductions responds:

thx

I have a message. A message I intended to deliver in a medium few have broadcasted it in before. Its nothing new, but the world must know. You must know.
